Requirements
- A cover that includes the title of the companion book and your name.
- A table of contents - 4 to 6 chapters (minimum 4)
- An overall book introduction (purpose of companion book)
- 4 chapters:
- 1 will be “Character” focused
- 1 of these will be “Theme.”
- The other two will be your choice from below (see "Choice Elements) or approved.
- Each chapter will include:
- Introduction to the chapter
- multiple paragraphs (intro, body paragraphs, and conclusion)
- multiple pieces of text evidence (at least 2)
- visual of some sort - drawing, illustration, map, chart, graphic
- An “about the author” page at the end (That’s YOU, by the way!)
- Cite all visual sources/provide page numbers for all quotes.

- Comparing/contrasting to another book
- Use of an extended metaphor

- Different views about beauty

- Archetypes
- Power
- Fanfiction/alternate ending
- Behavior patterns of a character
