Narrative Poetry and Self-Identity
What is narrative poetry?
Narrative poetry
are poems that tell a story much like a novel with a beginning, middle, and end. They have a plot, a setting, and a narrator.
Self Identity
is another focus of poetry - how we define who and what we are and how we express it.
When writing poems that show our sense of identify, we use words and phrases that
describe their own identity, or character traits and values.

Poems about Self-Identity - Planning
Self-Identity
Poetry can be written and read to understand yourself. It can be used to reflect.
Poetry can also help you figure out how your actions and thoughts affect others.
